EVP Recordings

Voices from the other side

Within ghost hunting and parapsychology, electronic voice phenomena (EVP) are sounds found on electronic recordings that are interpreted as spirit voices. Most EVP'S are typically brief, usually the length of a word or short phrase. Those of us in the ghost hunting community consider EVP''s to be a form of spiritual communications.

Most mainstream scientists regard EVP's as a form of auditory pareidolia and pseudoscience. Skeptics consider EVP's to be the result of apophenia (perceiving patterns in random information), equipment artifacts, and hoaxes.

In our experience, EVP's are the real deal. But how, exactly, do spirits make themselves heard on an audio recording device when we (typically) cannot hear them with our own ears? That's the million-dollar question, and nobody knows for certain.

You may be wondering why we believe EVP's are real. That's an easy answer: we have a lot of experience asking questions and hearing direct responses to our questions via EVP.
