Some parts of the world have a long and rich tapestry of reported cryptids. Here in Arkansas it's mainly the Fouke Monster / Bigfoot, and to a lesser extent the White River Monster. Of course there have been a variety of other reports from time to time - most recently the Chupacabra.
We have serious doubts about the existence of the Chupacabra (i.e. the Goat Sucker). There have been a number of headline "findings" of a Chupacabra from Texas to Puerto Rico, and in almost every case it turned up to be a dog, wolf, or coyote with a serious health issue, such as the mange. Still, there are those out there that believe the Chupacabra is real...and we will keep watching these reports with interest.
If someone has a credible report of such a beast here in Arkansas, we will investigate it.
